Renewal – A previously awarded project that has been extended with a NEW executed agreement. Given a NEW Project Number in PSFT and billed independently from the previous agreement.

Carryover

No Cost Extension (NCE) - An additional period of time given by the funding agency (sponsor) for the completion of work. This extension formally extends the project period to a new end date, thus allowing previously awarded funds to be spent. Please note: There are no additional funds given from the funding agency. Original Project number does not change.

Revision – Any formal correction to an award will require a Revision NOA to be issued. This is specifically a non-financial change. Examples of Revisions include a change in PI and a change of title.
